I am honoured to be the chairperson of the Nepal Medical Council. As a new incumbent chairperson, I would like to extend my warm greeting and gratitude to all members and friends of Nepal Medical Council.

The primary role of the council is to assure and promote quality in the medical profession in order to protect the health care seekers, foster ethical conduct and develop and maintain high academic and professional standards.

I, along with other members of NMC, shall do our best to uphold our mission of ensuring justice, maintaining professionalism and protecting the public.
